Device transfer

Changing a device before completing the identification process can be done without any limitations or additional fees. However, once the identification process has been completed, the CONROO Gate Pass license is linked to the device on which the identification was performed. This is required for security reasons.

If the device is damaged, replaced, or no longer available, the license can be transferred to a new device. Each user can perform one device transfer free of charge every 180 days.

After the transfer, the user must complete the identification process again on the new device before the Gate Pass can be used.

If the free device transfer has already been used within the last 180 days, an additional transfer is still be possible. In this case, a setup fee of €25 plus applicable VAT per user applies. This fee must be paid before the additional device transfer can be authorized.
