For a successful slot booking via Truckgate for EUROGATE terminals, you need to make sure to follow one important rule: The CONROO user ID (uID) used to log into Truckgate must exactly match the uID assigned to the pick-up right in the German Ports portal.
If these IDs do not match, the automatic background check will fail, and the tour cannot be booked.
Step 1: Assign Pick-up Rights in German Ports (For Trucking Companies / Dispatchers)
Before booking a tour, the trucking company must authorize the driver in German Ports.
Log into the German Ports web portal, navigate to the "Release" menu, and select "Pick-up rights".
Right-click the corresponding pick-up right to open the actions menu and select "Enter authorization for Truckgate".
Choose CONROO as the IDP system, which corresponds to the ID Type CNRP.
Enter the driver's 28-character CONROO uID in the Trucker-ID field. Make sure that this uID represents the uID of the trucker with an active CONROO Gate Pass.
It will be directly copyable from 2. March 2026 directly in the CONROO Web App.
It will be directly copyable from 23. March 2026 directly in the CONROO Mobile App.
Step 2: Book the Tour in Truckgate (For Drivers)
Log into the Truckgate app via the CONROO account that was assigned the pick-up right for the container you need to pick up.
Enter the container number. The Truckgate app automatically checks whether the currently registered driver has driving authorization for this container.
If the check is successful, you can continue your booking without entering a release number manually.
Common Pitfalls & Solutions
If the background check fails, you will see the following error message:
"Die aktuelle TruckerID hat keine Fahrberechtigung für diesen Container" (The current TruckerID has no driving authorization for this container). This usually happens due to one of the following reasons:
Pitfall 1: Booking from the wrong CONROO account
Often, a dispatcher or trucking company representative logs into Truckgate using their own CONROO office account to book a tour for a driver.
The problem: The dispatcher's account is making the booking, but the pick-up right in German Ports is assigned to the driver's uID. Because the uIDs do not match, the system blocks the tour booking.
The Solution: The slot booking in Truckgate must always be done while logged in with the exact CONROO account (uID) that holds the pick-up right in German Ports.
Pitfall 2: Typos in the 28-character uID
A wrong letter (e.g., uppercase instead of lowercase) when manually typing the uID into German Ports will cause the uIDs to mismatch.
The Solution: To prevent errors, you will soon be able to simply copy and paste the uID!
